RAWNOLA

Do you want an alternative for breakfast that isn’t just a boring bowl of oatmeal, or overly sweet, store-bought cereal that’s loaded with added sugars? Try looking at the nutrition facts/food labels of any generic granola at your local grocery store, and you’ll understand what I’m talking about. Yikes- WAY too many ingredients and words I can’t pronounce! If you can’t understand what the ingredient is, then it’s probably best not to put it in your body 😉

This is super healthy, really easy to make (you can adjust the recipe to your liking), and you still get ALL of the properties from each ingredient because it didn’t get sizzled away in the oven.

Ingredients:

Raw Oats

Raw Pumpkin seeds

Raw Almonds, Cashews (chopped)

Dried Fruits (I like throwing in golden raisins, chopped dates, dried bananas, chopped apricots)

Dried Coconut

Chia seeds

Flax Seeds

Sunflower seeds

Raw Organic Cocoa Nibs

Throw all of the ingredients together in a storage container, shake it up until distributed evenly. AND THERE YOU HAVE IT! Store in refrigerator or freezer to maintain fresh.

Ways to enjoy:

  • Use as topping for fruit salads, “nice” cream (banana based), or smoothie bowls
  • Eat as a cereal replacement with almond milk, rice milk, soy milk, etc.
  • Tip: throw in a tablespoon of almond or cashew butter for extra energy!
